Rebates and Funding Options

NDIS: Building Better Brains is a provider for NDIS under the capacity building category, including parent supports. We welcome self-managed and plan-managed clients.

Medicare Rebates: Medicare does not cover play therapy at this stage, so you will not require a mental health plan from your doctor prior to booking.

Health Care Rebates: You may be able to claim rebates for counseling through your private health insurance provider. Please speak with your health care fund directly for further information on this. At this stage GU Health, St Luke’s Health, Phoenix Health, Medibank, Doctors Health, AHM, Police Health Fund, Emergency Services Health, and Grand United Health Fund cover counseling sessions under certain policies.

Business coaching, mentoring and planning: Some session eg. business coaching or professional goal setting may be tax deductible. Check with your accountant.
