Learn how to facilitate Nurture groups to help support the emotional-social growth of students at your school. Nurture groups are based on Theraplay principles (a trauma informed, attachment- based, directive form of play therapy), creative arts therapy, Bruce Perry’s work on rhythmic brainstem regulation, mindfulness and behavioral techniques. The training program includes a full manual of therapeutic activities ready to use with your students, reflection tasks and workbook, worksheets, templates and forms, and 10-weeks of structured group lesson plans with detailed therapeutic connection activities.
This course includes heaps of essential resources for you to use straight away such as recommended music, relaxation and connection activities, movement activities, and a materials and resource list!
