Included in the course is 10-weeks of structured group lesson plans with detailed therapeutic connection activities and ideas for you to use.
Learn how to facilitate Nurture groups to help support the emotional-social growth of students at your school. Nurture groups are based on Theraplay principles (a trauma informed, attachment- based, directive form of play therapy), creative arts therapy, Bruce Perry’s work on rhythmic brainstem regulation, mindfulness and behavioral techniques. The training program includes a full manual of therapeutic activities ready to use with your students, reflection tasks and workbook, worksheets, templates and forms, and 10-weeks of structured group lesson plans with detailed therapeutic connection activities.
