Waiting List – Animal Assisted Play Therapy

About Animal-Assisted Play Therapy
Join Lauren and her super cute dog Mia for some animal-assisted play therapy sessions at Building Better Brains!
Animal-assisted play therapy is based on building a bond with an animal through interaction and play. For many people, interacting and building a bond with a friendly animal, can make them feel calm and help reduce stress. We hope that through interacting with Mia, your child will find more peace, purpose, companionship, and love.
Through bonding with Mia, your child will be able to further develop traits such as respect, empathy, patience, acceptance, confidence, assertiveness, and responsibility. These attributes can help children maintain secure relationships during difficult times in their lives.
Animal-assisted play therapy is suitable for ages 12 years and under.
