About Art Therapy
Art therapy uses a person-centred, strengths-based approach, mindfulness strategies, art therapy techniques, whole-brain integration, and body awareness to help you reconnect with yourself, heal your past, and start thriving again. Techniques include using sandtray therapy, drawing, painting, collage, bilateral drawing etc. to help the client reconnect, process, and recover. Art therapy supports positive growth in communication skills, self-esteem, and self-expression, and emotional regulation and trauma integration. No previous artistic experience required – it is about your process, not the product.
